  1. Unzip the file you just downloaded.
  2. Open chrome://extensions in a new tab.
  3. Turn on Developer mode, top right.
  4. Press Load unpacked and choose the unzipped folder.
  5. Pin the CC icon to your toolbar. That is it.
  6. Alt + Shift + P opens it without reaching for the mouse.

These steps are only needed until the Chrome Web Store listing is live — after that it is one click from the store and it updates itself.

Scan this tab

QR code for this page

A code for the tab’s address, drawn in the popup. For logos and shapes, use the QR studio.

Page colours

Reads the colours the page uses and opens them in the palette studio.

Copy the layout

Saves the page’s markup and styles, scripts removed, as a file to open in the Layout Studio. Never uploaded.

What it can reach

  • The tab you open it on, and only when you open it (activeTab).
  • cashcallin.net, to run the scan and use your account if you are signed in here.
  • Other sites only if you allow it when a feature asks (optional permission).
  • Keeps its own settings in the browser (storage). No browsing history is read.
